Fohoren is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The country is commonly known as East Timor. Fohoren is a parish in the district of Cova Lima. Most of the people living in Fohoren make their living by farming. The parish is positioned about 25 km from the Lolotoe sub district, along the border of East Timor and Indonesia. To come to Fohoren, you have to travel inland, away from the border. You have to then move to the coast.
