Tilomar is situated in Cova Lima district in the country of East Timor. This is located in the southwestern part of the country. The district is spread across 1226 Km2. The capital of the region is Suai. This is located at a distance of about 136 Km from the capital city of Dili. Tilomar is one of the districts of Cova-lima. The other sub districts are: Fohoren, Mape-zumalai, Suai, Fatululik, Fatumean and Maucatar.

The district of Cova-lima is close to Timor Sea. This sea lies in the southern part of the region. The Ainaro and Bobonaro regions are in the eastern part of the district. The nusa tenggara timur which is in Indonesia lies at the western end of the region. Tilomar is not very far from suai which is a beautiful region in east Timor. This is the capital town in the district of Cova-lima.

There are a lot of tourist destinations that are present in Tilomar. The lush green landscape of the region makes this an ideal tourist destination. There are hills where you can go for trekking.
