Two of these hills have been developed into world-class resorts.Dauis ChurchLocated at just 3 Km from Tagbilaran City in the island of Panglao, Dauis Church is one of the most beautiful churches in Philippines. Built by Spaniards, the Church is known for its interesting architecture, which is a fine blend of Byzantine and Romanesque architectural style. The interior of the church has some impressive frescoes painted on the ceiling.Punta Cruz Watch TowerLocated at about 13 Km from Tagbilaran City in Maribojoc, it's an amazing 18th century triangular watch tower built by Spanish. The Tower offers breathtaking views of Cebu, Siquijor, and Mindanao and is a famous picnic spot in Bohol.Baclayon ChurchIt's one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines, located at 6 Km from Tagbilaran City in the town of Baclayon. Still retaining its centuries old architectural design, the church had many interesting relics and artifacts belonging to the early 16th century, which are now housed at the Baclayon Museum.The Tarsier SanctuaryThe Philippine tarsier (Tarsius syrichta) is probaly the smallest known primate in the world, measuring only 4-5 inches. The tarsiers are amongst the rarest and the most endangered wildlife on the earth. As they resemble monkeys in looks and behaviour, they are considered to be the smallest monkeys (though they don't belong to monket category) found in the world.Tourists ActivitiesBohol offers an exciting range of leisure and recreational activities to its visitors. Diving is the most popular and enjoyable recreation in Bohol. The islands of Panglao, Balicasag and Pamilacan are rated amongst the best diving spots in the world.
